Why The Girl Does Not Stay With You ?

I read a story which reminds me a lot. I want to share with you.

 A host of a famous program, posted a message on his blog. He said his first girlfriend loved him very much when he was young, poor and bad tempered. He thought she should prove how she loved him if she really loved him. Then one day, the girl escaped and went to the other man’s hug which owned lots of money. He got very angry and thought she left for money. So he was fighting with her a long time. After few years, the host grew up and gained both fame and wealth. He could calm down and think about his first love without any anger. He accepted that the girl left him was not because he was a poor guy at that time.

When she had troubles and need his comforts; when she hesitated about her choice and need his advice; when she went home after working exhaust; when she messaged him she was sick. What was he doing? He would tell her that it was not a big deal and to relax. And then he would go back to his football game. She was the new in the company and so had to work even harder. He liked her cooking. He liked to listen to her because he thought her ideas were always right. Then he would be on the computer and tell her to drink more water. Then he would go out and hang out with his friends. What were other men doing? He would tell his girl that she worked so hard today and he was so proud of her. 

Some men are  jealous when the girlfriends leave them for the other men. Maybe they think the only reason is girls like rich men.

Lots of girls like to sit in expensive cars and cry, but more girls like to sit with their boyfriends on bicycles and smile. If they want to leave their boyfriends, the only reason is their boyfriends made them cry.  

When girls cry a lot, they cannot be urged to stay anymore. Sometimes they are not only go away but also took all happiness together.

A Trip To Ballet Rehearal

I and my mother-in-law were bored when we went to the Ballet rehearsal on Tuesday by car. At first, that rehearsal was much longer than the one it should be. They put long break between every two actions. Though we can buy something to eat in the lobby, the food was so expensive and sweet that I didn't really enjoy it. Then the parking lot which one was near the building was expensive also. We spent 25 dollars only for parking. I decided to go and see any shows or anything else in downtown by subway next time.

The Scorpio

The Scorpio is always alone. They never grabs anything from others. They hope people who are around them will like to stay with them. 

People come and go, but the Scorpio is a person who find it is difficult to accept another person go into their hearts. At the beginning, most of people think Scorpios are hard to stay with. You will find out that Scorpios will give you their all since you live in their hearts.

Everyone Is Special!

Maybe I am a passing traveller in your life, but you won't meet the second me again.

You are no longer a passerby in my life no matter we encounter on the wrong or right time and place.

I already knew I should had given up and gone away but I was still waiting for the impossible happen. It was really not good feeling.

Time will help you to decide when you can not get decisions by yourself. Or you can just do it instead of regretting.

The Lucky Day

I got the scores of my English listening, speaking, writing and reading. I am so happy to hear that because I improved my English especially listening and speaking in the past two months.

From now on, I will focus on my writing more. I will write whatever notes no matter how short it is. I will write as long as I can.

I also helped teacher check the new CD player in the morning. I looked through the instructions and found out how it worked. Unfortunately, it didn't work at the end. It was not my fault. I just can not find the cable which was lost at home by teacher. 

A Book: Catch Me If You Can

I started reading this book more than half a year ago. Unfortunately, I didn't finish yet. It is really not a very thick and complex book. It is not a reference book either. It is only a novel. I confess it with shame--It will take me 2 months to finish this book.

I have to say this book has lots of words.  I don’t know them at all.  So it could be a challenge for me . And at the same time, I have to write down what I think about every chapter or every few pages. That will be too much work for me. But what can I say, it is my duty to improve my English skills.

There is a Chinglish sentence, It was said that "Good good study, day day up"!

Happy Valentines Day!

Today is Valentine’s Day, February 14th. It is the first Valentine’s Day I have spent with my husband since I married him.

I also get blessings from my family. I am so happy to have my families.

In the past few years, I didn't celebrate the day because I didn't have any valentines at all. I got some gifts from my friends but they were not serious, just made some difference from every regular day. For instance, I would give my best girlfriend a gift. My brother would give me a gift and so on. I was happy when I got gifts at that time. But  I’ve learned the difference between now and the past. I was so happy that I could not believe it when I got a gift from my husband.

Strange Cycle

I found a truth. I would step into a strange cycle when I started learning something new.

I would get more confused since I learned more grammar. That was happened that I would think about the grammar, tense, complete meaning and so on before I built a sentence.  I felt that I made more mistakes in my article than before. I almost forgot what I wanted to say in the article when I found out the correct way to write. The same thing happened when I was speaking.

Sometimes, I got/was confused about what had been done in the past three months. Why did my writing become worse? Actually, I always have three steps to learn  anything new. At the beginning, when I compeletly don't know one thing at all. I can learn fast and make everything perfect. I was confident.Then, step by step, I would go in to a fog. That was such a hard time for me because I got confused about everything, even  when it was easy. Fortunately, I would get out of the  fog and I’d be able to reach a higher level and see things differently.

So my studying has always been more like a heart rate going up and down.

How can I deal with that?

Driving License

I have been to Canada three months ago. I used 7 days to got G1 license in the first month. I used one month to got my G2 license at the beginning of February. I did perfect, My instructor told me about the exam. Even though I knew I was good, I was so happy to hear that again! :)
I heard that two skills people had to know very well in Canada. One is English which I am learning now, another is driving which I have got the license on 5th.

The Chinese New Year

The 2013 Chinese New Year was the first main Chinese festival since I reached in Canada.  Also, this date was the first celebration of new year without firecrackers. But I ate dumplings on 9th with my husband. I was so happy that my husband would celebrate and remember this day with me. I didn't feel lonely when I should felt lonely.
It was a heavy snow, here and there, on Friday. It was very difficult to drive on the road, yet we still went to a good restaurant for lunch. The only reason was I felt like to eat noodles that day. How wonderful husband he is! :)
Then we went to his friends' house and had dinner there. They are good at cooking Korea food, especial shrimps and meat. The Chinese and Korean's new year is the same day. I didn't know before. We celebrated together with beers.
We watched two sick movies with two pieces of pizza from Pizza Pizza next day. I had a wonderful time in the 2013 new year's date which I never did before with my husband.
 Thanks a lot, my husband, I will remember all what you did for me.

What do you think about pets?

What do you think about pets? People may keep dogs, cats, birds and snakes. they like them very much. If you want to keep them very well, of cause, you should look after them well.
I came from China and I didn't have any pets before. But I saw many people how they were take care of dogs in China. Then I came to Canada, I saw dogs' lives as well. I made a little comparison by accident.
If you say that dogs in China are pets who go for walk and get good food everyday. Just by comparison, the dogs in Canada are more like real persons. They have their special food, snacks, toys, bathroom, beds and so on. I was so surprise that they had two bowls of drinking water for each one dog. Do you know what person say? Dogs have the right to choose which bowl they feel like to drink! What it is!
Maybe because Canada is a very developed country, people have different thinking system. I mean I agree with that behaver. Pets should be taken care by their owners. Just little surprise to me, you know, in some parts of the world even people can not drink water. They didn't have a chance to choose which one they are prefer!
It is crazy world, isn't it? At the same time, many different people came from different countries do the different things. There are something happened every seconds. We can not wast any food, water and time. Catch everything around you, be aware and enjoy your life. Be careful to see what happened in your life, because every past mins for you are history, never come back.

Tips: Toronto Reference Library

1. Now since Toronto Reference Library is a reference library, most of the books cannot be borrowed out.

1. Now the main floor is where all the computers/ WiFi are and generally is always busy with people coming in, chatting, using their laptops and going out. You can also book PC's for an hour a day. You can do it on your phone as you are going in and by the time you get inside, your PC is already waiting for you.

1. If you need anything, just ask the staff at the information desks located on each floor. 

1. No food except on the first floor but coffee and drinks are fine. Clean restrooms. Relatively fresh air. Free wireless internet that's fairly stable. 

1. It's good for doing research, especially on local matters, and since it's not a lending library, what you're looking for won't have been checked out by someone else by the time you get there. It's spacious and serene inside, so it's a good place to peruse materials as well.

My Mom's Birthday

During the last week, I were busy  going shopping due to the fact that my mother's birthday was coming. I really hoped she could have a wonderful birthday. But the point was I was not very good at picking out gifts. Unfortunately, neither was my husband. At last, I picked up a good scarf for her. I would be so happy if she likes it.
Then, there are another question. I was so worried about what we should do on her birthday. It should be the most a special day of the year. So I and my husband made a secret plan. We decided to buy flowers and dessert for Mom because she liked sweet things.

The Royal Ontario Museum

I went to the Royal Ontario Museum with my classmates on Friday. People in Toronto should visit their landmarks. This museum is the one of them.
I saw many fossils of many different kinds of dinosaurs. People found them out, put them together and rebuilt their bodies. But some of their bones are already rotten when archaeologist find them. So not all the dinosaurs are 100% true.
I also saw some bird and plant fossils. And some interested things, like the double coconut, the ancients' (aboriginal) clothes and how can they make fire.

A Trip To City Hall

I went to Toronto is City Hall with my classmates and teacher last Wednesday . There was a free presentation which talked about how to write a business plan and what the general content of one consists of.
Every successful business person must have a plan. A good plan looks like a "road map" which shows you where are you going, how to get there, how to understand your capabilities and how to understand your business' needs.
There are some necessary and important elements that should be thought about before starting a business. For example, assessment risks, financial capabilities-including creation of a financial statement, such as the income statements, balance sheets and cash flows. How do you identify the key risk factors for your business? You should always ask yourself hard questions because every war start from the peacetime. Your company will succeed if you are aware of the risks. That will help you overcome difficult conditions/situations.
I learnt to do the SWOT analysis ( Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) in university. It is a good way to analyze your business and give you a basic planning framework.
Every business plan should include key benchmarks and common mistakes. At the same time, avoid putting all your eggs in one basket. Look at different revenue streams, and place equal weight on each stream.

Winter Driving Tips

1 With a rear wheel drive car, if you take a turn too early or too suddenly, you will lose control of  your back tires.
2 You should gas slowly and brake slowly.
3 Pay more attention to checking and finding out which is the right direction before you leave.
4 Tires are the most important part of the car in winter. You'd better change your tires to winter tires because they help your car have more control.
5Check the brake system and make sure it works.
6When you drive around a corner, control your car's speed.
7Four winter tires are better than two.

A Letter

Dear JR,
I am so excited that you will visit me by car in February. We can go out and sightsee togehter by car. It is more convenient for us. At the same time, I also worry about this because the traffic isn't usually good in the winter. It is always snowy, wet, and ice is everywhere! That is really a bad time to drive.
You'd better take some food with you before you leave for my house in case you meet really bad weather.You may not arrival on time or you have to miss a meal due to the traffic. However, you have to check every part of your car,especially the gas tank, air bags, wheels, and so on. The most important thing to drive carefully and pay attention to road conditions.
I am so worried about you. Do you think coming here by plane or train instead of car is a good idea? Then we can drive my car and have fun as well. Anyway, I can't wait to see you.
